Overview

In July 2007, Land Securities received planning approval from the secretary of state to build Twenty Fenchurch Street, EC3, in the City of London.

The new, 155m (509 ft) tower at Twenty Fenchurch Street will have its largest floorplates at its summit, not its base. Designed by internationally acclaimed architect, Raphael Viñoly, Twenty Fenchurch Street will incorporate approximately 640,000 sq ft of premier office accommodation, retail, a café and a unique publicly accessible Sky Garden. The Sky Garden will be the highest public park in London to offer visitors an outside roof terrace, botanical gardens, restaurant and a commanding 360 degree panorama of London.
